With the Sigma TC with taped contacts attached to any of my other Sigma 2.8 lenses the lens won't find lock..it will just chatter away. So I opted to keep the Sigma 1.4 & 2.0 TC's for the other Sigma lenses and added a TC14E dedicated to the Sigma 500.
