This lack of … WebJul 3, 2024 · 2d export loses what you want to keep. 3d export keeps layer-colors and ‘blocks’ are made from components etc…. I’ve seen a similar problem in exporting Layout to DWG. In the settings for the export, there is the option: “Export Entities as Color by Layer”, even set it on, the colors are not shown. That’s disappointing.

You can also export the Sketchup model as DWG in either 2d or 3d, to replace the raster image that is exported from layout in paper space. The modelspace will be scaled based on the scale you had it set to in LayOut. (You must set a scale in LO for the export to export correctly).
